Accommodation with Asturian families is especially aimed at international students who enrol on Spanish courses at La Casa de las Lenguas.

This accommodation alternative allows students from other countries to get to know the Spanish way of life and enjoy a friendly and welcoming environment. The selected families will host the student in their homes for the duration of their stay in Asturias. This board and lodging scheme covers all the student's needs.

Staying with a host family allows international students to get to know the Spanish way of life and customs first hand.

Students wishing to participate in the programme should contact the International Relations Office of the University (C/ Principado, 3 Ground floor. Oviedo) for information about the requirements and procedures.

Families who participate in the homestay programme receive a monthly allowance to offset the costs of the young person's stay.
