REUNIDO is a portal of electronic journals of the University of Oviedo, whose main objective is the dissemination of research. In REUNIDO all the journals, with their complete collections, published by the publishing house of the University of Oviedo, are available in digital version and open access.
The electronic edition and management of the journals published by the University of Oviedo is carried out in the Open Journal System (OJS) programme, which is open source and freely distributed. Open Journal Systems (OJS) is a free software that allows the management of the entire editorial process of a journal and its subsequent electronic publication. OJS has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project, a Canadian organisation made up of British Columbia University, Simon Fraser University and Stanford University, which aims to facilitate the development of open access publishing.
OJS offers a comprehensive solution that allows efficient and unified management of the entire editorial process, from the submission of articles by authors, through their evaluation, to their final publication, indexing and reading. It aims to increase the quality of publications, making journal policies more transparent and improving indexing.
REUNIDO offers the complete collection of Archivum, a journal created in 1951 and until now dispersed and difficult to access; also available are Res Mobilis, Trabajos de Geología, Liño, Ería, Territorio, Sociedad y Poder, Revista electrónica de Metodología Aplicada, Revista de Filoloxía Asturiana, and Economics and Business Letters, among others. REUNIDO also contains the complete collection of Psicothema, a journal published by the College of Psychologists of the Principality of Asturias and linked to the University of Oviedo.
