The aim of the Institutional Repository of the University of Oviedo is to allow free access to the scientific production, as well as to guarantee the preservation of these digital archives, increasing the visibility of the contents generated by the members of the Institution. The Library of the University of Oviedo manages the digital repository of the University of Oviedo and updating it. This electronic collection is organised into various communities and collections so that users can quickly and intuitively find the documentation they are looking for.
The University of Oviedo Repository includes old collections of the University Library, documentation on the history of the Institution and a large part of the scientific production generated by the research staff (doctoral theses, European project research, OpenAire documents, Master's theses, research reports...). It also includes all the publications edited by the University of Oviedo.
The service allows interested users to register and receive regular updates via email. The repository's extensive collection of documents offers greater visibility to the research carried out at the University and represents a consolidated commitment to a more efficient and sustainable management of the Institution.
