The University of Oviedo offers the possibility of taking a double degree, so that the student, with only one more year of study, has a complete training accredited in two disciplines.
The University of Oviedo offers its students this type of programme (PCEO: Programación Conjunta de Enseñanzas oficiales), which provides students with two degrees in less time than if they were to study the two degrees separately and with the guarantee of a complete and competitive education. There are currently three double degrees on offer:
Physics and Mathematics
It began to be taught in the 2012-2013 academic year. This degree has a duration of 345 ECTS distributed over five academic years. Students can choose between two options: Option A, in which subjects from the degree in Mathematics predominate, and Option B, in which subjects from the degree in Physics predominate. Pre-registration is required prior to admission and subsequent enrolment.
Business Administration and Management and Law
This double degree started in the academic year 2013-2014. The minimum number of credits required to obtain the degree is 354 ECTS credits in five academic years. This degree is taught by the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Business.
Civil Engineering and Mining and Energy Resources Engineering
This double degree is taught by the Polytechnic School of Mieres from the academic year 2014-2015 and has a duration of 5 academic years. The number of credits required to obtain this double degree is 330 or 336 ECTS depending on the chosen mention.
