Mayores de 40 años con experiencia laboral

Admission procedure for students with work experience over 40 years of age

Candidates with work or professional experience in an educational field, who do not hold any academic qualification that qualifies them to access university through other routes and who are or have reached the age of 40 in the calendar year in which the academic year begins, may access university through this route.

The access route to university for over 40s with professional experience is linked to specific studies, so candidates shall submit an application for each of the studies whose professional profile they believe they fulfil. The admission test consists of an interview, which is carried out before a board of examiners set up in each university centre, in which the suitability of the professional profile and other merits are verified according to the following scale:

  1. Suitability to the profile of the degree report (up to 5 points).
  2. Professional experience (up to 3 points)
  3. Complementary training (up to 1 point)
  4. Other merits (up to 1 point).

Admission procedure

The grade for the test will be the result of the sum of the points obtained in the different sections of the scale. Candidates will be considered to have passed the admission test when they obtain a minimum of 5 points.

Candidates who have obtained a score equal to or higher than 5 points must apply for a place (pre-enrolment), within the official periods established for this purpose, and join the admission process.
