The University of Oviedo offers a wide range of degrees, both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, mainly in the field of engineering. These degrees are taught in six university schools spread over different campuses in Oviedo, Gijón and Mieres.

Some of these centres, such as the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón or the Polytechnic School of Mieres, are the result of the reorganisation process linked to the Campus of International Excellence, which was given as an example of good practice by the international commission that drew up the University Strategy Report 2015.
