Marta Gozánlez Prieto (Avilés, 1965) has a degree in Labor Relations and one in Labor Studies from the University of Oviedo. She began her career as a civil servant in the auxiliary administration in 1990 in the Faculty of Law. She then passed the civil servant examination and entered the administrative bodies in 1994, Management in 2007 and Technical Management in 2012.

Throughout her professional career, Marta González Prieto has worked in the Vice-Rector's Office for Students as Chief of the Agreements and Subsidies Section, in the Vice-Rector's Office for University Extension and Communication as Chief of Section, and currently works as Chief of the Administration Services of the Campus of Gijón since February 2008.

Furthermore, the plenary session of the Council also ratified the academic calendar for the next course and the PhD programs that it will send to the National Agency for Quality Evaluation and Certification (ANECA), approved by the Government Council on February 18.
