Presentation of the International Centre of Post-graduate studies to the university community
This is the body which has elaborated the new catalogue of university master's degrees
The University of Oviedo will present this Friday, 6th of May, the new International Centre of Post-graduate studies. This event, to which all the university community, the Social Council, the Government of the Principality and the companies which take part in the new offer of university master's degrees are invited, will be held at 12:00 in the Assembly Hall of the University of Oviedo.
The International Centre of Post-graduate studies, one of the greatest projects of the Campus of International Excellence, was approved the last month of December in a meeting of the Council of Government of the Asturian academic institution. Its goal is to manage in a coordinated way the offer of university master's degrees, PhD programmes, specific studies of the University and lifelong training.
The first action of this centre has been the elaboration of a new catalogue of university master's degree with a strong international and inter-universities character, which also boosts the collaboration of the companies in teaching, internships and training. The vice-rectors for the Campus of International Excellence, Paz Suárez Rendueles, and Studies and New Degrees, Covadonga Betegón, will inform about the IPC's future actions and the new offer of university master's degrees, in which double degrees with foreign universities and new Erasmus Mundus proposals are included.
The presentation of the new university master's degrees will be attended by the coordinators of the programmes and representatives of the institutions and bodies which take part and sponsor more than twenty university master's degrees.
