Lecturers from four Serbian universities visit Oviedo within the framework of the TEMPUS program

The lecturers will analyse the curriculum of a degree and a Master's Degree taught at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education

A group of lecturers from four Serbian universities are visiting these days the University of Oviedo as part of the Tempus program the Asturian academic institution collaborates with.

The lecturers, who come from the Universities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Nis, will analyse this week the curricular itineraries of the Degree in Primary Teaching Education and also the Master's Degree in Secondary and Upper Secondary Education and Vocational Training.

The TEMPUS program in which the project, entitled Harmonization and Modernization of the Curriculum for Primary Teacher Education, is included counts on the participation of 13 universities and educational institutions.

The Rector of the University of Oviedo, Vicente Gotor, received and welcomed the lecturers in his office. Gotor took advantage of the situation to stress the importance of strengthening links with European universities so as to improve the international expansion of the Asturian academic institution.

Accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Students, Luis Rodríguez Muñiz, the Serbian lecturers visited the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education and also the different areas of the Historic Building.
