The X Meeting of University Information and Counselling Services, which gets representatives from all Spanish university together, will be held at the University of Oviedo on the 5th and 6th of May, 2011. The COIE of the Asturian institution will host this year's edition in which, among other issues, the access to university, the recognition of credits, the possibilities that ICTs offer or the diffusion of the university student's status will be discussed. The official opening ceremony of this X Meeting will take place tomorrow, Thursday 5th of May, at 9:30 and it will be attended by the rector of the University of Oviedo, Vicente Gotor; the regional minister of Education and Science of the Principality of Asturias, Herminio Sastre; the coordinator of the SIOU group at the University of La Laguna, Fermín Martín; and the Vice-rector for Students and Employment of the University of Oviedo, Luis J. Rodríguez Muñiz.
