Day of the Technologic Spreading in the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón
There will be activities aimed at students from the last courses of Secondary school in order to attract their attention to the technology in the current society.
Within the activities of the Week of the Polytechnic School of Engineering: Engineering and Society, the next Friday 11th of March which is the Technologic Spreading Day, students from Secondary High Schools will visit the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón and the awards of "Life with and without technology" (La vida con y sin tecnología) competition will be given.
The students will arrive at 9:30 and they will see the exhibition of the works who participated in the competition. Then, they will attend a lecture and the presentation of prizes. Finally, they will be able to see some of the activities developed in the Campus as well as the laboratories of the centre.
The Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón is trying to stress the importance of technology nowadays and it wants to contribute in its promotion too.
