The President of the Senate will offer a lecture in Salas
Javier Rojo will talk about the role of the institution in the State of the Autonomous regions next Thursday 24th of March.
Valdés- Salas Foundation and the University Hall with the same name have organized this conference as the inaugural activity of the "Encuentros con nuestros representantes" (Meetings with our representatives), whose main objective is to bring the institutions closer to the citizens.
The first speaker of this cycle is the president of the Senate, Javier Rojo, who will develop a lecture entitled "La posición institucional del Senado en el Estado de las Autonomías" (The institutional position of the Senate in the State of the Autonomous regions). The rector of the University of Oviedo, Vicente Gotor, the president of the Valdés- Salas Foundation, Juan Velarde and the professor of Administrative Law of the University of Oviedo, Leopoldo Tolivar, will also take part in this event which will be held in La Veiga Municipal Centre, located in Salas, next Thursday, 24th of March at 19:15h.
