The University of Oviedo has joined the international platform AlphaGalileo, a portal for scientific dissemination worlwide on which the academic institution has already begun to publish its first news on research. This measure aims to widen the dissemination of research at our University in all fields of knowledge. AlphaGalileo is a communication channel with 8,000 journalists and 1,700 research organizations registered.

This initiative is part of a communication plan in development by the academic institution and that includes other proposals in motion such as the University of Oviedo's newspaper (dUO), the new media summary or the expansion of its presence in social networks with the opening of the official channel in Twitter.

Relating to scientific dissemination and the spreading of the proyects developed by our researchers, the Guide of Experts, with more than 500 specialists and translated into English, means a reference point increasingly used by the media.

The incorporation to the AlphaGalileo platform implies the opening of an international channel to give visibility to the proyects developed by researchers at the University of Oviedo.
