The University of Oviedo offers grants for stays at the Inter-American Development Bank

The grants cover six-month internships in Washington for last-year or just-graduated students

The University of Oviedo and the Banco Sabadell Foundation offer three grants for internships at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), at its site on Washington, with the objective of getting first-hand experience in the administration and operations of the IDB and getting to know its policies, administrative guidelines and procedures.

This call is open for last-year students, as well as for students who have graduated from the University of Oviedo in the past five years. The grant will cover a six-month stay in the United States starting in January 2014. The grant will pay the plane tickets to and from Washington and award the students a monthly salary of €1,650 to cover the expenses of accommodation and food.

The applications have to be presented at the University of Oviedo Foundation (Principado, 3, 4th floor, 33007 Oviedo). The period for registration will remain open until October 18, 2013, at 2 PM.

A commitee will evaluate all the applications and will select a total of three candidates for the grant, who will be presented to the IDB so that they can make the final decision. A good academic record, having studied a Postgraduate Degree at the University of Oviedo and having a good level of languages will be positive assets for the evaluation.
