On Tuesday 19 January, the University of Oviedo will be holding its 13th Innovation in Teaching Conference - and this year, it will be run virtually. The aim is to provide a space for reflection and exchange on what has been learned when innovating to adapt teaching to different scenarios in the midst of the uncertainty caused by the pandemic. This edition of the Conference is entitled "Teaching In Times Of Pandemic. Learnings For Innovation In Teaching Within Hybrid Environments". The conference will start at 9am on Tuesday on MS Teams, and be chaired by the university's rector, Santiago García Granda, accompanied by the mayor of Mieres, Aníbal Vázquez; the university's director general, Cristina González-Morán; and the director of the university's Innovation in Teaching department, Aquilina Fueyo.

The conference, which aims to be a space for training and exchange for teaching staff of all educational levels, will this year look at how teaching - which, until the arrival of the pandemic, was mostly done in-person - can be adapted to hybrid or mixed environments.

During the event, the most positively rated Innovation in Teaching projects will be presented from the 2019 Call for Proposals as well as those from 2018 with a two-year duration.
