Students may request to review their exams on June 11, 13 and 14 (until June 14 at 2 p.m.)
The University of Oviedo has had 94,47% of students passing the University Entrance Exam (PAU) in the June session, which shows an improvement with respect to the results obtained in 2015, when the percentage of passing students was 91,68%. A total of 4.016 students took the exam (3.707 have taken the general phase). The average grade to access university is 7,0 while last year it was 6,83. The highest mark was 9,9, and ten students have obtained an access grade higher than 9,80. Among the passing students, 95% are female and 93%, are male.

As for subjects in the General Phase, 77% of students passed Spanish Language and Literature with an average grade of 6,13. The percentage of passing and average grades has improved in English, with a 76,92% of passing grades and 6,38 of average grade in contrast to 63,33% of passing grades and average grade of 5,56 last year. The results in History of Philosophy have also improved with 83,18% of passing grades 6,68 average grade (73,98% passing grades and average grade 6,06 in 2015). The percentage of passing students in History of Spain reaches 77,46% with average grade 6,45, while the passing grades in 2015 reached 75,67% and the average grade was 6,35.
In Physics in the General Phase there was 82,40%, average grade 6,85, slightly higher than last year, which had 73,55% - 6,15. There was also a clear improvement in the students with an average grade of 9 or higher, a total of 293 students, as opposed to the 260 in 2015.
As regards the Specific phase, it is worth mentioning the results in Physics with 72,52% of passing grades and 6,15 average grade; Biology with 72,31% and 6,09; Chemistry 72,48% - 6,34; and Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences 94,13% - 7,85.
A total of 309 have taken the Specific Phase: 173 from Higher Education Training Cycles 136from Baccalaureate.
Those students who wish to review their exams may request to do so in June 11, 13 and 14 (until June 14 at 2 p.m.). The publication of grades after the first period for exam review will be on June 20 at 7 p.m. The period for claims about marking will be available on June 21, 22 and 23. On June 27 the grades resulting from the second period for exam review will be published.
