The University of Oviedo has opened the admission period for the summer University Extension courses. The academic training, available for all kinds of public, includes 41 programs of different fields of knowledge, and will be delivered in Avilés, Cangas del Narcea, Castrillón, Gijón, Mieres, Oviedo and Somiedo. Registration is available either online, or at the Office of Information and Registration of University Extension in Oviedo. 

 

In order to validate the registration process, the payment slip shall be submitted to the corresponding office within the established deadline. The summer courses of the Asturian institution, which are in their 75th edition, contribute to improve the training of the Asturian university students and they are oriented towards the service to the Asturian society in general. That is why these courses are structured according to the aspects, problems or cultural or educational needs of the society. 

 

All these programs may be validated and recognized as elective credits. Furthermore, students may be awarded ECTS credits for courses in which they get the corresponding administrative recognition.
