The bank commits itself to collaborate with the teaching and research initiatives and projects conducted by the Chair, focused on the reality and the problems of family enterprises
The University of Oviedo, the Santander Bank, through its Global Division Santander University, and the Asturian Association of Family Enterprises, have singed this morning an agreement to support the activities developed at the Family Enterprise Chair of the University of Oviedo.
With the agreement, the bank commits itself to collaborate with the teaching and research initiatives and projects that are conducted by the Chair, focused on the reality and the problems of family enterprises from the points of view that they deem relevant, having as a priority the development of an educational program that contributes to the improvement of the students of this subject.
The agreement was signed by the Rector, Vicente Gotor; the Territorial Director of Asturias of the Santander Bank, Víctor García López; and the President of the Asturian Association of Family Enterprise, Carlos Manuel Rodríguez Peláez.
The Family Enterprise Chair was created in 2002 and is constituted by the University of Oviedo, the Institute of Family Enterprise, the Asturian Association of Family Enterprise and the Asturian Federation of Entrepreneurs.
The support given to this Chair by the Santander bank reinforces and expands the collaboration that it currently offers to the University of Oviedo since 2005, by means of which the banking entity, through its Global Division Santander Universities, supports numerous initiatives of the University.
