Delegates of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Oviedo and the enterprise Fluor have met to assess new ways for collaboration between the company and the University center in matters of teaching activities. The Director of the enterprise in Asturias, Juan Vicente Piñera, met with the people in charge of the center and the departments to evaluate a greater degree of involvement in terms of Master's Degree.

The engineering enterprise maintains a close link with the University center since its economic contributions have allowed it to, for example, improve the equipment of the teaching laboratories of the Faculty, more particularly one from the Department of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry and one from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technology. The delegates of the two institutions congratulated each other on the good feeling that exists between the two.
