68.5% of Asturian students pass the PAU examination in July

The students may request a revision of their exams on July 9, 10 and 11

The University has registered 68.5% of passing students during the University Access Examination (PAU) for July, which was taken by a total of 942 students. The general average for access to the University is 5.02. The highest grade achieved was 8.87.

During the General Phase, the number of students who passed the examination of Spanish Language and Literature reaches 49.25% and the average grade is 4.57. In English, 38.85% of students passed the exam with an average grade of 4.17. The percentage of passing students in History of Spain reaches 32.88% with an average grade of 3.70. In the case of History of Philosophy, 76.6% of students passed the exam, with an average grade of 6.05.

Moreover, only 129 students attended the Specific Phase: 23 from Higher Degree Educational Cycles and 106 from the Baccalaureate.

Students who wish to request a revision will be able to do so on July 9, 10 and 11. The publication of grades from the first period of revisions will be made on July 16, starting at 18:00. The period for requests of double correction will take place on July 17, 18 and 19. On July 22, the grades from this second period will be published.

The PAU grades may be also checked through the application of the University of Oviedo, which can be downloaded by clicking on the following link: http://goo.gl/FFB5kN.

For the 2014 edition of the PAU, the University of Oviedo will provide a digital certification of grades, available for students at the website of the University, which can be accessed with their personal ID numbers and PIN. These certificates do not require official validation to be used at the University or any public administration.
