The University of Oviedo will exhibit its offer of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees and help students and families resolve their questions. The 1st Academic Fair of the University of Oviedo will take place nest Thursday, May 22, at the Historical Building between 17:00 and 20:00. The audience will be able to access information on the complete catalog of studies that will be offered during the next academic year: 51 Undergraduate Degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), including three Double Degrees and 15 Degrees with bilingual pathways promoted by the Campus of International Excellence.

As a new part of the catalog of Undergraduate Degrees, the next academic year will see the establishment of the Double Degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering of Mining and Energy Resources at the Polytechnical School of Mieres. This is the third Double Degree offered by the University of Oviedo, after the Double Degree in Business Management and Administration (ADE) and Law, and the Double Degree in Physics and Mathematics.

Future students will be able to choose from 51 Undergraduate Degrees in all the fields of knowledge, including three Double Degrees and 15 bilingual pathways promoted by the Campus of International Excellence.

In its commitment to internationalization, the academic institution is also extending its offer of bilingual pathways to the Degree in Chemistry, making the total offer of Degree with classes in English to 15 and offering its students the option to acquire a certificate that can be included in the European Supplement to the Degree.

The Fair, organized by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students, is a point of reference for those students who are starting their life at the university during the next academic year. The 19 faculties and schools that make up the University of Oviedo will be present with their own spaces, where the audience will be able to make their inquiries on any of the Degrees they offer to get to know the access requirements, their job possibilities or access profiles. Representatives from each center will be at the service of the attendants.

The Student Information and Advice Center (COIE) will also be present in the Fair to help solve any question regarding the academic offer of the institution, the University Access Examinations (PAU)-which will start on June 3-, the grants available to students, the options of accommodation for university students or the different ways to access an Undergraduate Degree.

The offer of Postgraduate Degrees will also be present at the First Academic Fair of the University of Oviedo. The International Center for Postgraduate Studies will have a stand with all the relevant information pertaining Master's Degrees, PhD Programs and Certificate Degrees that will be available during the next academic year at the Asturian academic institution. The catalog of Master's Degrees is incorporating 8 new Degrees. The ICP offers for the 2014-2015 academic year a total of 47 Master's Degrees, where the internationalization and collaboration with the world of business are a key aspect of the formation they give.

La Casa de las Lenguas will also showcase its offer of formative courses in languages and Spanish for foreign speakers. Moreover, the Sports Service of the University will have a stand that will feature information about its premises and offer of activities at the different campuses.
