The University of Oviedo and Telefónica present a call for one hundred grants for graduates

Students who have finished their studies of Technical and Higher Engineering in Telecommunication, Computer Science and Industrial Engineering or other economic areas may apply until May 4

The University of Oviedo and Telefónica presented this morning the new call for the Talentum Universities grants, with one hundred places aimed at graduates in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or economic areas. Students may apply until May 4 via the following website: www.fundacionsepi.es.

The Rector of the University of Oviedo, Vicente Gotor, and the Director of Telefónica in Asturias, Paula Beirán, presented the program of long-term grants that constitutes an opportunity for youths to approach the world of the enterprise, promoting their integration into the labor market and the chance to enter Telefónica. The Vice-Rector for Campus, IT and Infrastructures, Víctor Guillermo García, was also present during the act.

Last year, a total of 18 students of the Asturian University participated in the program that in 2014 offers one hundred grants for all of Spain. So far, 96% of the participants of the Talentum Universities program have joined the staff of the Spanish multinational afterwards. Paula Beirán praised the good formation that the students receive at the University of Oviedo and encouraged them to take part in this initiative.

The participants in this program will complete their formation in strategical projects in different areas of the enterprise, especially in Development of Services and Systems, Operations and Networks, Marketing and Commercial Services.
